What, or who, is Gallifrey?
In a shadow library in the TARDIS, the Doctor finds a journal signed by a woman named Gallifrey. Believing that to be too much of a coincidence, the Doctor sets off to Chicago in the year 2081 to try and discover more.
At the same time, Gallifrey herself is in trouble after causing the death of a wealthy businessman. She is on the run to avoid capture by the police, a revenge seeking security officer, his bosses, and a curly haired man in a dark blue felt coat.
Is this woman with unusual abilities, a genius IQ and amazing talents a lost Time Lord, an extraordinary human or something else entirely? What connection, if any, does her past have to his own? Now the Doctor must find her before her own time runs out...
